1. Who we are

Velis operates this website and is responsible for the personal information collected through it. Our contact details are at the foot of this page.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to take an order, deliver it, and answer questions about it.

• Account details — your name, email address, phone number and password (stored only as a one-way hash, never as readable text)
• Order details — delivery name, address, pincode, phone number, the items ordered and any note you leave
• Order history — kept against your account so you can look up past orders
• Reviews — the name and any city you choose to publish alongside your review
• Newsletter — your email address, if you subscribe
• Contact messages — what you send us through the contact form
• A session cookie that keeps your cart and wishlist attached to your browser

3. What we do not collect

We do not store card numbers, UPI IDs or bank details on this website. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell your information to anyone.

4. Why we hold it

To process and deliver your order, to contact you about it, to let you sign in and see your order history, to publish reviews you have chosen to submit, to send the newsletter if you asked for it, and to meet our tax and accounting obligations.

5. Who we share it with

Our courier partners receive the delivery name, address and phone number — they cannot deliver without them.

Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. When you pay, your name, email address and phone number are passed to Razorpay so it can process the transaction and show it on your statement. Your card number, UPI ID, CVV and bank credentials are entered on Razorpay's own systems and never reach ours — we receive only a payment reference, the amount, and which type of instrument was used. Razorpay processes this under its own privacy policy at razorpay.com/privacy.

We may disclose information where the law requires it. Beyond that we do not pass your details to third parties.

6. Cookies

We use one essential cookie. It carries a session identifier so your cart, wishlist and sign-in survive as you move between pages, and it lasts 30 days. Blocking it will stop the cart from working. We do not run advertising or tracking cookies.

7. How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Account details are kept until you ask us to close the account. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept while the query is open and for a reasonable period afterwards.

8. Security

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes and cannot be read by us or recovered — they can only be reset. Database queries use prepared statements, and forms are protected against cross-site request forgery.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information we will tell you and the relevant authority without undue delay.

9. Your choices

Write to us using the details below and we will act within 30 days.

• Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
• Ask us to delete your account and its data, where we are not required to keep it
• Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time
• Ask us to remove a review you have published

10. Children

This site is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and the date shown above. Significant changes will be notified to account holders by email.
